Test Principle : Preserves bacterial strains in tubes to maintain viability for long-term clinical use.
Four Steps for Microbial Strain Preservation
Use an inoculation loop to transfer a large number of bacteria into the preservation medium until visible turbidity appears.
2. Invert the container to mix bacteria evenly with the culture beads.
3. Use a sterile pipette to collect all preservation medium from the strain storage container, then discard the bacterial suspension.
4. Store the strains in a -20°C freezer for up to one year; lower storage temperatures extend preservation.
Two-Step Strain Activation
1 . Pick a colony using a loop (L-shaped loop or tweezers) and immediately return the culture tube to the cold storage.
2 . Streak the colony on suitable media or inoculate into appropriate culture broth, then incubate under the required conditions.
